Please join us on Wednesday, December 6 at 4:30 at the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce (101 Pierce St.) for a ribbon cutting. We will be kicking off our “Light Up in Blue” project. We are encouraging businesses, organizations, families or individuals to light up their space in blue for the month of January, which is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. We will have a short printed explanation that you are doing this to help raise awareness of the problem of human trafficking for National Human Trafficking Prevention Month available to put in your window if you would like it .

Businesses and non-profits that light up in blue are halfway to becoming an Iowa Business against Trafficking (IBAT). The other part is to learn something, and we would be happy to help you with that also. For more information on IBAT, go to ibat.iowa.gov.
