Light Up In Blue

Light Up in Blue in January - National Human Trafficking Prevention Month

Members of the Siouxland Coalition against Human Trafficking at a Siouxland Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting help to celebrate the kick-off of the Coalition's "Light Up in Blue Campaign"

Light Up in Blue in January - National Human Trafficking Prevention month.  Blue is the color assigned to the issue of human trafficking. and we are encouraging businesses, institutions, non-profits, families and individuals to light up their space (whether it's a building, office, desk or window) in blue for January - National Human Trafficking Prevention month.

If you want to join in the effort, we would be happy to provide you with a 5 1/2x 7" window sign or table tent that says you are participating in "Light Up in Blue" to call attention to human trafficking and that has our contact information.  We also ask that if you do light up in blue, you send a picture to our Facebook page (Please include the name of your business, group, family, etc.)

Already have blue lights up for Christmas?  Feel free to keep them up and just let us and others know that you are participating in Light Up in Blue to recognize National Human Trafficking Prevention month.  You won't be alone:  The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce is leaving their blue lights on and Sioux City Downtown Partners are keeping the blue lights over 4th. St. blue for the cause!

For more information or to let us know you are participating or to get a window sign/table tent, just contact us at  scahtinc@gmail.com .
